Naloxone Save in North York Borough

On 06.23.16 at 0632 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a report of an unresponsive male in a parking lot in the 300 block of East 7th Ave in North York Borough.

The responding Officer found a 36 year old York City male to be unresponsive.  The Officer administered two doses of Naloxone and the male regained consciousness.  The male was transported to York Hospital for further treatment.

This is the 37th time that Northern York County Regional Police Officers have administered Naloxone. Northern York County Regional Police Officers began carrying Naloxone on March 30, 2015.

The York County Naloxone program is sponsored by the York County District Attorney’s Office
