On 11.16.16 at 2224 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the Subway located at 351 Loucks Road in Manchester Township for an armed robbery.

A black male approximately 5’8″ – 5’9″ tall, wearing gloves, a dark colored hoodie sweatshirt, gray shoes, dark jeans and a mask entered the store holding a knife.  The subject then walked behind the counter and held the knife to an employee’s neck and ordered them to open the register.  The male then emptied the cash out of the register and fled the scene.  Neither the employees nor two customers that were inside the store were injured. The amount of cash taken has not been determined.

Witnesses observing the male fleeing the store directed Officers to the area of LA Fitness.  Officers were able to recover the sweatshirt, mask, gloves, and a sheath for the knife.  The Officers also recovered cash laying in the area.

The investigation into this incident continues.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717.292.3647, through 911, through our Facebook page, or use the crime tip reporting portion of this website.
