Vehicle Theft in North York Borough

On 12.14.16 at 1631 hours the northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a stolen vehicle in North York Boro.

The owner of the 2012 white VW Jetta reported that she parked the car on Laurel Street and left it unlocked and running.  She then went into a house in the 1000 block of North Duke Street.  When the owner went back to where she parked the vehicle, it was gone.

The vehicle was later located in York City.  The vehicle had been crashed at the intersection of Pattison Street and East King Street.  A black male was seen leaving the scene of the crash.
