On 06.13.17 at 2016 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the 1500 block of North George Street and met with a subject who claimed to have been robbed.

Elgin Anthony Harrison age 28 of Orlando, FL flagged down EMS personnel and advised that he had been robbed.  Harrison began walking away when the EMS personnel contacted the 911 center.  Responding officers located Harrison walking in the area.  The officer found that Harrison was intoxicated and that his story seemed implausible.

While speaking to Harrison, a second call was received from a male who advised that he was robbed inside the China Kitchen.  This male, a 54 year old from Thomasville, reported that a male matching Harrison’s description had came into the China Kitchen and stole $21.00 cash as he was handing the money to the cashier.  The cashier at China Kitchen confirmed the story and identified Harrison.  Harrison was found to have exactly $21.00 cash on his person.

Elgin Harrison was taken to Central Booking and arraigned on charges of Robbery, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, and Public Drunkenness.

The investigation into this incident continues.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717.292.3647, through our tip line at 717.467.8355, or use the crime tip reporting portion of this website.
