Defensive Driving Class to be Held

The Northern York County Regional Police Department will be sponsoring the National Safety Council’s “Defensive Driving” program.  The program is open to those drivers who are age 16 or older and possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.  The program is also open to drivers who are age 55 or older and have attended prior “Coaching the Mature Driver” programs.

The course will be held in one session on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 0800 to 1600 hours.  Participants are required to bring a bagged lunch with them.  Deadline to register is August 11, 2017.

The program will take place at the Northern York County Regional Police Department located at 1445 East Canal Road Dover, PA 17315.  The class is limited to 30 persons and is filled on a “first come/first served” basis.

Requirements for successful completion:

  • Attendee must be age 16 or older
  • Attendee must possess a valid PA Driver’s License

Registration may be secured by calling the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717.292.3647 or by filling out a registration form at the station during normal business hours(Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm).
