On 08.24.17 at 0120 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 6800 block of Lincoln Highway in Paradise Township.

Arriving officers found a 27 year old male to have at least one gun shot wound to his left upper torso.  The male also had a possible gun shot wound on his left arm.  The male advised that he had heard someone outside of his mobile home possibly attempting to gain entry.  The male went to the main door of the residence with a baseball bat to investigate.  As the male exited the home he encountered two subjects between his home and the neighboring home.  The victim reported hearing gunshots and feeling being struck by the bullets.  The two subjects fled on foot eastbound and the victim went back inside his residence.  The subjects were last seen wearing dark clothing and possibly masks.

The victim was transported to York Hospital.  He was treated and released.

Investigators believe that this was a targeted attack and not a random crime.

The investigation into this incident continues.  Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department tip line at 717.467.TELL (8355) or tips@nycrpd.org
