On 10/05/2010 at approximately 1300 hours employees of H & H Contracting discovered marihuana being grown in the area of Lake Pahagaco in Jackson Township.  Lake Pahagaco is owned and operated by P. H. Glatfelter Company.

Officers found that makeshift hanging baskets had been constructed by unknown subjects.  The baskets were filled with potting soil and each contained 3-4 feet tall marihuana plants.  The baskets were then hung from the trunks of trees.  The baskets were attached to the trees by chain and were between 10 and 15 feet off of the ground.

The investigation into this incident is continuing.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Northern York County Regional Police at 717.292.3647 or use the crime tip reporting section of this website.
