A young driver escaped injury in a single vehicle Wednesday morning crash left utility wires down on the roadway and a utility pole requiring replacement. The 7:38 AM crash was located on Roths Church Road in the 700 block, located between the intersections of Church Road and Eyster Avenue.
A 1999 Mercury Sable operated by a 17 year old Jackson Township lost control and left the roadway impacting a utility pole and resulted in wires being across the travel lanes of the roadway.
NYCRPD closed the roadway for approximately one hour until utility crews were able to remove the wires from the roadway. Utility crews were continuing repairs and no information is available as to loss of service by residents in the area.
