45 Year Old Man Hosts Juveniles At Trailer Home Drinking Party & And Is Arrested On Multiple Counts – Conewago Township

An underage drinking party at a trailer home located at 318 Waldorf Drive in Conewago Township left a 45 year old man in the York County Central Booking Center facing multiple criminal counts and awaiting arraignment. 

NYCRPD officers secured a search warrant after the trailer owner identified as RICHARD LATSHAW, age 45 refused to allow officers entry to investigate after a series of reports concerning children drinking inside the trailer, including a 15 year old female who was found in the yard outside the trailer intoxicated, shortly before 1:00 AM.

A search warrant was issued by the duty Magisterial District Justice and the NYCRPD forced entry after entry was refused to the premises at the time of the service of the search warrant. 

NYCRPD officers arrested LATSHAW and charged him with counts related to:

  • Furnishing Alcohol To Minors
  • Corruption of the Morals Of Minors
  • Reckless Endangerment 

In addition to LATSHAW there were seven minors charged with underage possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages. A runaway child was also located in the residence. The minor’s ages were in a range between 12 years of age and 19 years of age.

The children were released to the custody of their parents with the exception of a 19 year old male, who was transported to the York County Booking Center for arraignment on his summary offense. In addition the Office of York County Children’s and Youth Services were notified of the event due to protocol requirements.

The investigation by NYCRPD continues into the event.
