A Saturday morning crash left four persons injured in the 3200 block of North George Street in Manchester Township. The NYCRPD was dispatched to the North George Street crash at 10:47 AM between the intersections of High Street and Emig Road. The roadway was closed by NYCRPD crash investigators while the crash victims were rescued and the investigation was conducted.
Preliminary information from the investigators indicated the unidentified male adult driver of a Pontiac Sunbird was traveling south bound on North George Street when he lost control and crossed the center line of the roadway and struck a north bound Toyota RAV4 sports utility vehicle.
The operator of the Toyota an adult male and two pre-teen passengers were all injured, with injuries of an undisclosed severity. The driver of the Pontiac was injured severely and the injuries have been described to NYCRPD as life threatening in nature. All victims are currently undergoing emergency medical care at local hospital facilities.
