UPDATED INFORMATION - 11.02.2010 at 08:32 Hrs The NYCRPD projects the roadway will be closed for a period of approximately six (6) hours with expectations to re-open the roadway for the evening commute. Salvage crews are beginning the process of load transfer and clean up of the overturned vehicle, which was full loaded with a cargo of beer.
A crash involving an overturned tractor trailer combination closes Route 15 South in the area of the intersection of Hickory Road. NYCRPD Units are on the scene and a traffic detour has been established. Motorists are urged to use caution in the area and to expect delays.
NYCRPD Units , Franklin Township Fire and Rescue Units were dispatched to the crash at approximately 7:25 this morning and details from the scene indicated at least one person suffered traumatic injury. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
