Conewago Township Fire Displaces Family – Family Pet Killed

On 11/03/2010 at 0049 hours the Northern York County Regional Police responded to a structure fire in the 600 block of Butter Road in Conewago Township. 

Upon police arrival, flames were observed coming from a first floor window.  The homeowners were attempting to douse the flames with a garden hose. 

The residents of the home were displaced by the fire and a dog was killed by the smoke associated with the fire.

The residents were treated at York Hospital for smoke inhalation.

Fire departments from Strinestown and Dover battled the blaze.
