On 11/29/2010 at 1507 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to 194 Chesapeake Estates in Jackson Township  for a domestic dispute.

Investigation found that Daniel Overstreet, age 33 of Hyattsville, Md, was at the residence to visit a former girlfriend.  The female feared for her safety and summoned neighbor Brian Tassone, age 54, to stand by with her.  During a heated argument, Overstreet threatened, both the female and Tassone that he would be back with “boys and guns”.  He also threatened to kill the female and her children.

As Overstreet was leaving the residence in a 1997 Honda, he accelerated rapidly out of the driveway in the direction of Tassone.  Tassone attempted to get out of the way, but was struck in the leg and arm by the vehicle.  Tassone did not require any medical attention.

Overstreet fled the area and has not been located.

The Duty MDJ issued an arrest warrant for Daniel Overstreet.  Charges are as follows;

  • Terroristic Threats
  • Simple Assault
  • Recklessly Endangering Another Person
  • Harassment
