A Manchester Township man was arrested following a 911 call for an assault in progress at 2280 North Point Drive. The call was placed on 12/08/2010 at 10:20 PM. NYCRPD patrol officers were dispatched to a reported assault involving a baseball bat and knife.
It was determined that there was a confrontation between a subject identified as BRIAN McKenna, age 42, of 2280 North Point Drive and two subjects who were at the residence to collect monies allegedly owed to them by McKenna. The victims reported that they were confronted at the door of the residence by BRIAN McKenna who is alleged to have been armed with a knife, the victims reported that McKenna then held the knife to the face of one victim and stated he “was going to kill him”, McKenna then used a baseball bat to threaten and strike one of the victims in the face.
McKenna was taken in police custody and transported to the York Central Booking Center where he was awaiting arraignment on charges of Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, and Harassment. At the time of this release there was no information as to the bail status of the defendant. The victim of the assault was treated for moderate injury at the York Hospital and further information on his status is unavailable at this time.
