Updated Information – As of 4:00 PM on 12./10/2010 all roadways were treated at least one time by road crews. There is a potential for slick spots to exist throughout the jurisdiction. Motorists are urged to use caution and to be aware of potential refreeze of previously snow covered roadways. The first snowfall of the season has created roadway hazards throughout the NYCRPD jurisdiction. There have been several crashes on various roadways associated with the weather conditions.
The NYCRPD has notified the road crews and public works departments of all municipalities within the NYCRPD jurisdiction as well as the PennDOT (York) substation of the roadway conditions.
