NYCRPD criminal investigators filed felony charges against a female teacher who is alleged to have had a sexual relationship with a student at the Paradise School for Boys located at West Canal Road in Paradise Township.

The NYCRPD initiated an investigation into the event in July after inappropriate sexual contact was reported to have transpired between the 39 year old teacher and the 16 year student.

Investigators determined that the 16 year old male, whose identity is being withheld due to his age, was provided alcoholic beverages and marijuana by the teacher in addition to numerous consensual sexual encounters.

In a statement to NYCRPD investigators the juvenile male victim provided details of dates, locations, and times where the acts took place. In his police interview the juvenile male victim relinquished to investigators a cellular telephone provided to him by the defendant so she could contact him frequently, while minimizing her chance of discovery to facilitate and advance the relationship. The male reported he engaged in sexual intercourse as well as performance of oral sex acts by the defendant at various locations including the defendants, car, the home of the defendant’s ex-spouse, and local motels and parking lots.

KIMBERLY JO LARKIN, age 39, of 240 Forrest Drive, Gettysburg, PA 17325 was charged by the NYCRPD with the following offenses:

The NYCRPD was assisted by the York County District Attorneys Office, and the United States Marshalls Office Fugitive Task Force.

The early Thursday morning arrest of LARKIN at her home was a part of a warrant service operation conducted by the NYCRPD and the United States Marshalls Fugitive Task Force.  This operation included officers from numerous local law enforcement agencies and the United States Marshalls Office, and is intended to locate, arrest, and prosecute offenders in York County and throughout South Central Pennsylvania. Special emphasis is placed on the apprehension and arrest of sex offenders as part of this unit’s mission. At the time of this information release LARKIN was awaiting arraignment at the York County Central Booking and Processing Center.
