Convenience Store Robbery – Dover Borough

The Northern York County Regional Police Department is investigating an early morning robbery of a convenience store in Dover Borough. The robbery occurred at the TOM’S STORE located at 1 South Main Street, Dover. The robbery occurred just after midnight when a subject entered the store and forcibly entered the counter area and demanded the cashier open the cash register and then took monies from the register.  The suspect fled the sore on foot and left in an undetermined direction of travel.

 The suspect is described as follows:

  • Male
  • White
  • 5 Feet 8 Inches to 5 feet 10 Inches
  • Medium to heavy build
  • Wire rim glasses
  • Brown hair
  • Hair is cut short with receding hairline
  • Late 20’s to early 30’s
  • Blue jeans
  • Carhart style jacket
  • White sneakers

There was no weapon displayed in the event and there were no injuries to employees or to customers. Anyone with further information is requested to contact the NYCRPD at 911 or to provide information via nycrpd.org
