On 03.03.2011 the Northern York County Regional Police Department arrested a 25 year old Dover man for two armed robberies.
Michael Barry Sanger of the 1500 block of Hunter Drive in Dover Township was taken into custody following a traffic stop. A NYCRPD detective recognized Sanger as the passenger in a vehicle on RT30 in Manchester Township. The Detective and other NYCRPD units stopped the vehicle on I-83. Sanger was taken into custody without incident.
Sanger was transported to York County Central Booking and arraigned on the following charges related to the robbery of the Turkey Hill store located at 2820 Carlisle Road in Dover Township on 01.20.2011;
- Robbery
- Aggravated Assault
- Simple Assault
- Reckessly Endangering Another Person
- Theft by Unlawful Taking
- Receiving Stolen Property
Sanger was arraigned and released on $25,000.00 bail.
On 03.04.2011 Michael Barry Sanger was arrested and charged with the 01.20.2011 robbery of the Dunkin Donuts in North York Borough. Sanger is currently at York County Central Booking on the following charges;
- Robbery
- Aggravated Assault
- Simple Assault
- Recklessly Endangering Another Person
- Theft by Unlawful Taking
- Receiving Stolen Property
