The NYCRPD responded to a report of subjects on the roof of the Hayshire Elementary School in Manchester Township on 06/18/2011 at 15:48 hours. The responding officers located a group of juveniles on the roof of the building as reported. Three juveniles between the ages of 13 and 9 were apprehended. The two 13 year olds were charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief. The charged related to the criminal mischief were for damages caused to the air conditioning system on the roof caused by kicking the housing units by the offenders. Damage estimates were not available. The NYCRPD does not release the names of juvenile offenders, the offenders were released to the custody of their parents pending further legal process.
