NYCRPD patrol officers surprised a thief as he was in the process of stealing various items from vehicles left at the PEP BOYS located in the 400 block of Loucks Road in Manchester Township for a service appointment.
On 06/24/2011 at 02:45 AM, a NYCRPD patrol officer located and took custody of the thief as he was in the act of stealing from numerous parked vehicles. The subject was unable to present satisfactory identification and was transported to the York County Central Booking Center for live scan identification and arrest processing.
The subject in his mid-twenties was determined to be utilizing a series of aliases and was of undetermined immigration and residency status. The defendant reported he was a resident of Honduras.
The subject is awaiting arraignment on a series of theft and theft related offenses and awaiting further determinations by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE).
