No Injuries in North York Robbery

On 08.14.2011 at 2136 hours a 19 year old North York man reported that he and a female companion were walking north in the 600 block of North George Street in North York Borough when they were approached by two black males.

One of the males approached the victim and advised that he had a gun and told the victim empty his pockets.  When the victim initially refused the males forcible took his cell phone from him and removed his wallet from his pocket.  The suspects then removed cash from the wallet and fled on foot towards Parkway Blvd. 

Descriptions of the suspects are as follows;

  • Suspect #1 — dark skinned black male — 5’11 to 6’0 tall — short hair — dark blue jeans — white tshirt
  • Suspect #2 –dark skinned black male — 5’8 to 5’9 tall — dark jeans — dark hooded sweatshirt

The victims were not injured.
