On 12.10.2011 at 2052 hours the Northern York County Regional Police responded to a reported robbery in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 7400 block of Lincoln Highway West in Paradise Township.

An 89 year old Adams County man reported that he and his wife had finished their dinner and were preparing to depart for home.  The victim stated that as he was loading his wife’s walker into the trunk of their car, he heard a male’s voice say “Let me help you with that”.  The victim thanked the man, but indicated he did not need help.  As the victim was bent over in the vehicle he felt someone’s hands in his rear pockets.

The victim then observed a white male with a goatee running towards a white car that was in the parking lot.  The car left the parking lot and travelled westbound on Lincoln Highway West towards Adams County.

The victim was not injured.  The victim reported that the only thing that was taken was a soiled handkerchief.

The investigation into this incident continues.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police at 717.292.3647 or use the crime tip reporting portion of this website.
