News Release : Burglary of Rutter’s Farm Store in Dover Borough

SUBJECT:  Burglary of Rutter’s Farm Store located in Dover Borough

DATE: 05/04/2010

On 05/04/2010 at approximately 0215 hours a patrol officer of the Northern York County Regional Police located a broken window in an entrance door of the Rutter’s Farm Store located at 35 East Canal Street in Dover Borough.

Investigation found that at approximately 0125 hours a white male broke out the window to the door and entered the store.  Once inside the store the male walked to the counter area and removed a donation canister belonging to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.  The canister contained an unknown amount of cash donations.  The male then exited the store.
