Jackson Township Plane Crash Kills California Man

On 12.22.2011 at 1728 hours the Northern York County Regional Police responded to a plane crash near Martin Road in Jackson Township.

Responding officers located a twin engine Cessna crashed in a farm field.  The pilot and only occupant was found to be deceased.  The pilot was a 38 year old California man.

The crash investigation is being handled by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).  All questions concerning the crash should be directed these agencies.
