One Killed in Manchester Township Crash

On 12.23.2011 at 0237 hours a Northern York County Regional Police Officer attempted to stop a vehicle on North George Street for suspicion of DUI.  The vehicle failed to yield for the Officer and a pursuit was initiated on North George Street near Masonic Drive.  Due to weather conditions the pursuit was terminated on North George Street near Woodland Ave. 

The fleeing vehicle continued south on North George Street and became involved in a crash in the 1500 block of North George Street.  The driver of the vehicle was killed in the crash.  The Pennsylvania State Police are handling the crash.  All inquiries regarding the crash should be directed to the Pennsylvania State Police.
