Vehicle has been recovered in the Gettyburg area.  Charges have been brought against suspect by PSP Gettysburg.

On 01.07.2012 the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a stolen vehicle in Franklin Township.

The owner reported that he had a 1997 silver Jeep Grand Cherokee parked on a property along SR15 near Glenwood Road and that the vehicle was offered for sale.  The vehicle was last seen at the location in the afternoon of 01.05.2012.  The vehicle pictured in the photo is the actual vehicle stolen.  The vehicle was displaying PA Registration # GLY-3039.

Tire marks and other evidence at the scene indicate that the vehicle was probably taken by someone with a rollback style tow truck.

The investigation into this theft continues.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717.292.3647, through 911, or use the crime tip reporting portion of this website.
