PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:
On 01.08.2012 at 0121 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the 1300 block of North Duke Street for a report of shots fired.
Witnesses reported that a black male had fired a handgun into the air numerous times. Officers recovered nine .40 caliber shell casings in the area of North Duke and East 10th Ave.
UPDATE:
On 01.11.2012 an arrest warrant was obtained for Andre Isiah Threatt age 22 of 2338 Fruitville Pike in Lancaster.
On 01.12.2012 at 1230 hours Threatt turned himself into police in regards to this incident. Threatt also surrendered a .40 caliber handgun to officers.
Threatt is currently at the York County Booking Center to face arraignment on the following charges;
- Aggravated Assault
- Simple Assault
- Recklessly Endangering Another Person
- Causing or Risking a Catastrophe
- Crimes Committed with Firearms
The weapon involved a .40 cal Taurus handgun is registered to Threatt. At the time of the incident Threatt possessed a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
