On 05/05/12 at 1222 hours Aaron Richard Gracey age 24 of Dover Borough, went to the Northern York County Regional Police station to find out if the police had his car keys and if they knew the location of his vehicle. While talking to a police officer Aaron Gracey pulled his hand out of his front pocket. This motion caused a baggie to fall from his pocket to the ground. The police officer recognized the contents of the bag to be marijuana. The police officer attempted to arrest Aaron Gracey. Aaron Gracey picked up the baggie and pulled away from the police officer. Aaron Gracey ran along a creek near the police station. While fleeing he threw the baggie of marijuana along the creek. The police were able to catch Aaron Gracey and after a brief physical altercation were able to take him into custody. The marijuana was recovered. Aaron Gracey was charged with possessing a small amount of marijuana, resisting arrest and tampering with evidence.
