Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Manchester Township

On 06.09.2012 at 0127 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a motorcycle crash in the 3400 block of North George Street in Manchester Township.

Investigation found that a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 57 year old George Baublitz of Manchester was travelling northbound on North George Street and failed to negotiate a left hand curve.  The motorcycle left the roadway and collided with concrete curbing and guide rails. 

Baublitz was transported to York Hospital with severe injuries.  Baublitz was pronounced dead at York Hospital at 0909 hours.
