On 06.13.2012 at 2129 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a struck motorist crash on Bull Road south of Hilton Ave in Conewago Township.
Investigation found that 63 year old North York female had stopped her car for unknown reasons at the bridge on Bull Road at the Manchester Township/Conewago Township Line. The female was exiting her vehicle when the driver’s door to her vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle. This impact knocked the female to the ground in the middle of the roadway.
The vehicle that had struck the door pulled over and stopped and the driver attempted to check on the female. While the first driver was calling 911, a northbound vehicle struck the female. The driver of this vehicle continued on without stopping. Moments later a third vehicle struck the female and initially stopped. The third operator exited the vehicle and came back to check on the female. She then returned to her car and drove off.
The third driver is described as a white female having longer brown hair. The female was wearing flip-flops, a light colored blue or white t-shirt, and tan capri length cargo pants. There was no description of the second driver or both vehicles that left the scene.
The female who was struck was transported to York Hospital with serious injuries to her torso and legs. It is unknown at this time why she had stopped on the bridge and why she was exiting her vehicle.
