Previously reported;
On 08.08.2012 the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a daytime burglary at a home in the 600 block of Woodlandview Drive in Manchester Township.
Subjects entered the home by forcing open the front door. Once inside the burglars took a coin collection and jewelry.
The burglary occurred between 0900 and 1600 hours on 08.08.2012.
On 08.09.2012 Clyde Searles age 54 and Catherine Smith age 49 both of the 200 block of Belvidere Street were arrested in West Manchester Township after attempting to pawn the jewelry taken during this burglary. Searles and Smith were both taken to Central Booking and arraigned on charges of Receiving Stolen Property. After further investigation, additional charges may be filed.
UPDATE
On 08.16.2012 Clyde Searles was transported to Central Booking to face arraignment on additional charges in this incident. The additional charges include;
- Burglary
- Theft by Unlawful Taking
- Criminal Trespass
