News Release : Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Crash in Franklin Twp

SUBJECT:  Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Crash in Franklin Twp

DATE: 05/17/2010 

On 05/16/2010 at 2102 hours the Northern York County Regional Police responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on Baltimore Rd (SR 194) at Krall Court in Franklin Twp. 

Investigators found that a 2005 Ford Focus driven by a 17 year old male from Franklintown was traveling northbound on Baltimore Road near Krall Court.  The vehicle collided with a 17 year old female who had been attempting to cross Baltimore Rd. 

The female pedestrian was flown to Hershey Medical Center by Stat Medivac. 

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

The investigation into this crash is continuing.  Any witnesses to this event are asked to call the Northern York County Regional Police at 717-292-3647 or use the crime tip reporting portion of the Department’s website at http://nycrpd.org
