York Man Arrested For Shooting Incident Outside of North York Club

On 10.07.2012 at 0134 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the area of the Lux Club located at 1327 North Duke Street in North York Borough for a report of a fight and shots fired.

Witnesses advised that a large fight had broken out inside the club.  Security was able to get the combatants outside of the club when another fight erupted in the crowd.  During the fight outside the club, an uninvolved subject retrieved a gun from a nearby vehicle and fired 4 to 5 shots into the air.

The shooter was described as an Hispanic male with a medium build wearing a light colored shirt and blue jeans.  He was in the company of two other Hispanic males.  The trio left the area of the club in a small silver or gray colored hatchback.

On 10.17.2012 the Northern York County Regional Police Department arrested Miguel A. Colon-Marte as the shooter in this incident. 

Colon-Marte turned himself in at the NYCRPD.  The .380 caliber handgun used in the crime was recovered.

Colon-Marte was arraigned in front of MDJ David Eshbach on the following charges;

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Simple Assault
  • Recklessly Endangering Another Person
  • Causing or Risking a Catastrophe
