On 12.07.2012 at 0957 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the 3100 block of Jessica Road in Dover Township for an attempted burglary/home invasion.

The resident reported that she was in her home with a small child when she heard a knock at the door leading from her garage to the interior of the home.  The resident reported she thought it may be a delivery person and unlocked the door and opened it.  She was then confronted by an unknown subject wearing a ski mask.  The resident slammed the door shut and locked it and called 911.

The overhead garage door to the residence had been left open.

No threats or demands were made by the subject and the resident was uninjured.

The investigation into this incident continues.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717.292.3647, through 911, or use the crime tip reporting portion of this website.
