Arrests Made in North York Vehicle Arson

On 11.25.2012 at 0355 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the 1000 block of North Court Alley in North York Borough for a vehicle fire.

Responding Officers found a 2006 Pontiac GTO engulfed in flames.  The vehicle was destroyed by the fire.  The vehicle was owned by a resident of the 100o block of North George Street.

Update;

On 12.17.2012 the United States Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force took the following subjects into custody for their role in the arson that destroyed this vehicle.

  1. Scott William Grim age 25 of 101 Taft Ave in Manchester Township
  2. James Yeaple age 22 of 101 Taft Ave in Manchester Township

Yeaple and Grim are both charged with the following offenses;

  • Arson
  • Criminal Mischief
  • Causing or Risking a Catastrophe
  • Loitering and Prowling at Night
  • Carrying a Loaded Weapon in Vehicle
