Burglary of Occupied Residence in Conewago Township

On 12.26.2012 at 0118 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the 4300 block of Lewisberry Road in Conewago Township for a reported burglary that had just occurred.

The homeowners reported that they were in bed sleeping when the family dogs began to bark frantically.  The dogs led the homeowners to the kitchen area of the home.  The homeowners reported observing that the plexiglass window had been pushed out of the rear door.  The window was now laying on the floor of the kitchen. 

A purse was found missing from the kitchen area.  The purse contained various identification cards as well as credit, debit, and gift cards.

A unknown vehicle was heard leaving the area of the home just after the dogs began barking.
