Purse Taken During Strong Arm Robbery in Manchester Township

On 01.05.2012 at 1905 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the 600 block of Hayley Road in Manchester Township for a report of a strong arm robbery.

The 37 year old female victim reported that as she was exiting her car in her driveway, she dropped her purse.  As she was retrieving her purse, an unknown subject approached her from behind and struck her in the head.  The victim was unsure if she was struck with and object or the subject’s hand.  The subject then grabbed the purse and fled the area on foot.  The subject did not say anything to the victim during the incident.

The victim sustained a large swollen bump on her forehead.  She refused medical treatment.

The purse contained a small amount of cash and prescription medication.

The victim was unable to provide a description of the subject.
