Armed Robbery in Jackson Township

On 01.15.2013 at 2056 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the Dollar General located at 2100 Thistle Hill Drive in Jackson Township.

The store clerk reported that a tall black male entered the store and pointed a knife at him.  The suspect then demanded the cash from the cash register.  The cash was placed in a black trash bag that the suspect had brought into the store with him.  The male then fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.

The clerk was not injured and no other customers were in the store when the robbery occurred.

The male suspect is described as follows;

  • Black male
  • Navy blue sweatshirt
  • Olive colored pants
  • Brown boots
  • Blue ski mask
  • Knife was a folding knife with a 4″ blade and a blue and gray handle
