Juvenile Arrested During Jackson Township Burglary

On 01.15.2013 at 2346 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a burglary in progress at the Morningstar Marketplace located at 5309 Lincoln Highway in Jackson Township.

Officers located a window in a door that had been broken. While searching the building, the officers discovered a 15 year old male hiding in the building. Officers located stolen items on the male including change that had been removed from some of the marketplace shops.  The male was also found in possession of a switchblade knife.

The 15 year old male was placed in a juvenile facility and is facing the following charges;

  • Burglary
  • Criminal Trespass
  • Theft by Unlawful Taking
  • Criminal Mischief
  • Possession of Instruments of Crime
  • Prohibited Offensive Weapons
