Burglary at Conewago Elementary School

On 02.03.2013 at 0016 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a burglar alarm at the Conewago Elementary School located at 570 Copenhaffer Road in Conewago Township.

Responding Officers met with a school official and entered the school.  A window was found broken in one of the classrooms.    Unknown subjects made entry to the school through the window.  A flashlight belonging to the burglars was found inside the classroom.  No other rooms in the school were entered and the subjects exited the school through an exit door.  It is still being determined whether anything was removed from the school

Two sets of footprints were found in the fresh fallen snow.  The footprints led into an adjacent housing development.
