On 02.08.2013 the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated the theft of cash from vending machines located in the 1100 block of Hanover Road (SR116) in Jackson Township.

Video surveillance shows two subjects at the vending machines around 0320 hours on 02.07.2013.  The duo, a male and a female, arrived at the location in an older model Jeep Cherokee.  The male cut the locks from the machines using a pair of bolt cutters.  The female then used keys to enter or attempt to enter the machines.

The female was successful in opening one of the machines and emptied the contents of the cash receptacle into a bag being held by the male.

The male and female then left the area in the Jeep.

The investigation into this theft continues.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717.292.3647 or use the crime tip reporting portion of this website.
