Three Injured in Jackson Township Crash

On 05.29.2013 at 0446 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a two vehicle crash on Lincoln Highway West (SR30) near Roth’s Church Road in Jackson Township.

Investigation found that a 1996 Subaru operated by Edwin Gunnet age 57 of Chesapeake Estates in Jackson Township was travelling eastbound on Lincoln Highway.  A 1999 Ford pickup operated by 33 year old Cory Thoman of Scenic View Lane in North Codorus Twp was travelling westbound preparing to turn from the center turn lane.  The Gunnet vehicle crossed into the center lane and struck the Thoman vehicle head on.

Gunnet had to be extricated from his vehicle.  He was transported to York Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Thoman and passenger Floyd McWilliams III age 35 of Spring Grove were also transported to York Hospital for moderate injuries.
