On Tuesday August 6, 2013 from 6 to 9 pm the Northern York County Regional Police Department and our constituent municipalities will host our 2nd annual National Night Out Celebration. National Night Out is designed to foster improved police-community relations and provides for an atmosphere for the police department and its citizens to interact.

NYCRPD’s National Night Out will be held at the Union Fire and Hose Company located at 30 East Canal Street in Dover Borough.

Everything at the event is free of charge and is open to anyone living in Dover Township, Dover Borough, Manchester Township, Paradise Township, Conewago Township, North York Borough, Franklin Township, and Jackson Township.

Highlights of the event include;

Free hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by NYCRPD Officers
Free pizza, tacos, ice cream, cupcakes, snacks, and italian ice provided by gracious donors
Free entertainment inside the dining hall
Free door prize raffles for attendees of all ages
Activities include;

Bounce house and inflated obstacle course
Face painting
Interactive displays provided by the US Armed Forces
Displays include a helicopter, race cars, and fire equipment
Special guests may include;

US Representative Scott Perry
PA Representatives Seth Grove and Keith Gillespie
York County Commissioners Steve Chronister and Doug Hoke
York County District Attorney Tom Kearney
Downtown
Master of Ceremonies Adam McAllister
Dunk Tank Canned Food Drive;

A dunk tank will be set up during the event. Rep. Seth Grove and numerous NYCRPD Officers will be in the tank. Please bring a canned or non-perishable food item to the dunk tank. For every item you donate, you will get three chances to dunk whomever is in the tank. All collected food items will be donated to the Dover Area Food Bank.NNO_2013
