A Dover Township man is incarcerated on a probation violation and $50,000.00 bail after his arrest for a theft of ring valued in excess of $5000.00.
NYCRPD investigators charged JOSHUA ALEXANDER DUGAN, age 24, 3106 Equinox Drive, Dover, (PA) with theft, receiving stolen property, and loitering and prowling. This arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the thefts from vehicles in Dover Township, Manchester Township, and other municipalities.
As part of the investigation a recovery was made by a NYCRPD investigator of a ring with a value in excess of $5,000.00 from a residence in Lebanon County. On May 11, 2010 this ring was identified as being stolen from a Dover Township resident in November 2009, the ring was identified and seized as evidence.
A felony arrest warrant was issued by the NYCRPD for DUGAN on May 11, 2010 after a determination that DUGAN was a fugitive was made.
On May 21, 2010 during the early morning hours DUGAN was located at a residence in the 3100 block of Equinox Road in Dover Township, by the United States Marshalls Office Fugitive Task Force.
NYCRPD investigators conducted a follow up interview with DUGAN who will be facing additional charges in connection with over 50 vehicle break in reports. Further information will be released as developments warrant.
