Produce Stands Targeted by Thieves

Between 08.21.2013 and 08.27.2013 the Northern York County Regional Police Department has investigated three reported thefts of money from roadside produce stands.

The thefts occurred at roadside stands in the following areas;

  • 2900 block of Stillmeadow Lane – Manchester Township
  • 4600 block of South Salem Church Road – Dover Township
  • 4500 block of Davidsburg Road – Dover Township
  • 700 block of Hanover Road – Jackson Township

Cash boxes were damaged and cash was stolen as well as some fruits and vegetables were damaged.

A description of a possible suspect vehicle was provided by a witness.  The vehicle is to be a silver colored Chevrolet or Saturn sedan.  The suspect is a white male with a thin build.  The male is to be between 5’10” and 6’1″ inches tall.  He was wearing khaki shorts and a dark collared short sleeve shirt.
