On 08.07.2013 at 0243 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the 2900 block of Deep Hollow Road in Dover Township for a report of a residential structure fire.

Investigation found that a blue plastic container containing an unknown accelerant was set ablaze adjacent to the the home.  The fire spread from the plastic container and through the mulch bed and onto the home.  The fire damaged the siding on the home and charred the wooden deck and railing.

Three vehicles parked at the home had their tires slashed.  Graffiti on the vehicles indicates that this was not a random act and that the occupants of the home were targeted.

None of the  people in the home at the time of the fire were injured.  The interior of the home sustained smoke and water damage.

The Pennsylvania State Police and the York County Fire Investigation Team are assisting with the investigation
