On 11.04.2013 at 0047 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to meet a subject who reported he was robbed in the 1000 block of North George Street.

A 30 year old York City man reported that he had met another male subject online and had went to the subjects home in the 1400 block of North George Street.  After staying at the male’s home for several hours, the victim left the residence to walk home.  While walking in the area of West 6th Ave the victim advised that two black males approached him.  One of the males was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and the other was wearing a brown jacket.  The subject in the blue hooded sweatshirt displayed a small black handgun.  The victim then handed his wallet over to the unarmed male in the brown coat.  The subject took the cash out of the wallet and handed the wallet back to the victim.  The subjects fled in an unknown direction.  There were no injuries.

The investigation into this robbery continues.  Anyone with information is requested to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717.292.3647 or use the crime tip reporting portion of this website.
