The Northern York County Regional Police is pleased to announce the hiring of two new police officers. Both officers are currently enrolled in the 97th Police Academy at Harrisburg Area Community College. Graduation from the academy is scheduled for June 03, 2010.
New Probationary Officers
Erika L. Eiker, age 22, from Gettysburg, PA. Officer Eiker is a 2005 graduate of Gettysburg High School and a 2010 graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Matthew J. Groff, age 23, from Harrisburg, PA. Officer Groff is a 2005 graduate of Central Dauphin High School and a 2009 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Upon graduation from the academy both officers will undergo an intense 12 week field training program. Following completion of the field training program both officers will be assigned to the patrol division.
