Thefts of Copper Piping in Dover Township

The Northern York County Regional Police Department is investigating two instances of theft of copper piping that have occurred in Dover Township.

  1. A homeowner reported that sometime between 12.02.2013 and 12.03.2013 unknown subjects made entry into a home in the 3400 block of Sycamore Road by breaking out a basement window.  Once inside the subjects removed copper piping from the basement and first floor of the vacant residence.
  2. A homeowner reported that sometime between 11.30.2013 and 12.03.2013 unknown subjects made entry into a home in the 3200 block of Davidsburg Road through a basement window and removed copper piping from the basement area.

These locations are in close proximity to each other.  It is believed they are related.
