A Friday afternoon crash on Lightner Road near Beaver Street left a motorcyclist suffering from moderate injuries. 45 year old Brian Lee of the 2600 block of Coldspring Drive, York was transported by the Manchester Township Ambulance to the York Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The crash occurred as LEE was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle west bound on Lightner Road when a vehicle operated by 19 year old Lynnea Makrias of the 1200 block of Millcreek Road, York, PA operating a 1997 Nissan Altima entered into the roadway from a convenience store into the path of the motorcyclist. A citation was filed charging MAKRIAS with a summary offense of Vehicles Entering or Crossing Roadway.
